How about across the street. There are lots of plants that the slugs can eat over there. Okay?

This is how my girls enjoy a good hike on a rainy morning. We enjoyed it too. Oh, except for the part where Emma insisted that I carry the slugs for a while because she was getting tired. That should have been a really good opportunity to leave the slugs behind. But, I played along - until the big baby slug started slithering it's way to the edge of the leaf and showed interest in landing on my hand. No thanks.
