Emma had some allergy testing today - just for the typical seasonal allergies, and all were negative. The doctor did say she was rather young for seasonal allergies, but thought she could be developing a grass allergy based on symptoms and timing (we agree, since Andy has had the same thing and goes into hyper-symptom mode when he mows the lawn). Anyhow, she seems to have a lot of chemical sensitivites, and we are trying to find a pool that will be better for her. We may have to use an outdoor pool (seems so cold), but it would help. Also, she now has a prescription for Nasanex for when she gets congested. Lastly, he noticed some wheezing for the first time. Previously, all of her symptoms had been cough-style. One more thing, after last weeks attack we will now start carrying her albuterol and orapred with us wherever we go.
She seems to be clearing up symptom wise and is hanging out with a friend right now. Andy just got home, and Sophie is hungry... so, off I go!
