Happy Day After 4th of July

Yesterday was long, and busy...so we are catching up today. We spent the morning doing some yard work then decorated the wagon (Emma drew a family portrait to hang on the side of the wagon) with the girls, dressed them up (I made the tutu's for the girls) and drove them down the hill for the Happy Valley 4th of July Kid's parade. They walked the parade route which ended at the Festival itself and then had a blast in the bouncy houses. We bought some kettle corn and headed for home. A treat was had here as well. Our neighbors have a sizeable inflatable bounce house of their own and they set it up for all of the kids to play. The girls had a great time hanging out and we all sat out front on the lawn for a BBQ dinner and some fantastic fireworks from the neighbors. The girls loved it and Andy and I really enjoyed our first opportunity to hang out and get to know the neighbors. They are a fun bunch of people.
