Emma is back in school now, and she does seem to be happy. She is in a new class with a new teacher - all necessary for her to be there five days instead of three. At first, she wasn't pleased with this change but we asked her to try it out. She still gets to see all of her old friends throughout the day - yesterday when I arrived to pick her up she was with her old class upstairs. She gets to make new friends. She is in a class with all four year olds and her new teacher is great. She's doing well. Her artwork continues to be impressive. On that note, I sold off the train table (the girls used it more for staging than for trains at this point) and we are replacing it with an elementary size art table. That's what they do. They make art. Emma loves to draw. Sophie loves play-doh. Our dining room table was taken over several months ago. We want it back. We will have the table this weekend and the art making will continue. While we were at the peach farm on Monday, we took a ton of pictures mostly of the girls. Once in a while, something else would catch our eye - like this lovely sunflower. I love how the light filtered through the petals. It just needed to be shared. So, we still love this lens. Happy Thursday - it's almost the weekend you know!
