...at sweet little Charley girl. Well, not so little but still so sweet. She is still recovering a bit from her Gingerbread House eating fiesta. Yep! She ate more than half of the house and nearly all of the candy decorations. She is still rather bright eyed for all of that. This is really just a sneak peak at what we were doing tonight - some picture taking for a Christmas card. And, while this really is a very cute picture of Charley, I know a few grandparents who would be disappointed that there wasn't a cute little Sophie and a cute little Emma in the picture. So, we keep trying. We had a fun weekend - we took the girls to the CBA kid-friendly Nutcracker with some friends yesterday morning, followed by a birthday party for a classmate of Emma's, finally followed by Zoo Lights. This was amazing - we have managed to miss it every year until now. The cold did not stop us, since a dry weekend evening is tough to find around here this time of year. We even got to see the new baby elephant. The Oregon Zoo is famous for it's Asian Elephant birth rate. He was sleeping and his mama had her trunk resting on his side. Oh, my!
