How we pass the time...

...when the sister gets sick too.

Emma has been having some issues with asthma this week, capped off with a hurting tummy and some vomiting this morning. So, instead of school we stayed right here for some r&r. You can only watch so much opb tv and eventually tire of reading book after book. So, arts and crafts it is. We made these beautiful tissue paper flowers using the instructions found in Green Crafts for Children. The instructions can be found all over the internet as well, but we had this on hand. The best part is that I could actually take a picture using day light. We are still weeks away from spring and warmer days and extra daylight, but I'm thrilled for these little teaser days for now.
