Go Emma, Go!

Emma has been taking swim lessons from her kindergarten teacher this summer. She gets to do so with her friend N too - how great is that? Just the two of them, their favorite teacher ever, and in a private pool. So, she's been moving along - she can swim the length of the pool. She jumps in and swims to the side at the deep end. And now, she even goes down the slide by herself and swims back to the side. It's so fun to watch her skills develop and her confidence grow. While she is getting instruction, her teacher's daughter is actually in the water with Sophie and J (N's little sister, who plays soccer with Sophie) and takes them around the pool, helps them practice putting their face in the water and all kinds of good stuff. As the days of summer start to be numbered, I am really enjoying all that we do with our days. Miss Emma has really started to gain some confidence and Miss Sophie is as silly as ever.
